At Marie Crundwell Garden Design, I aim to deliver thoughtful, creative garden designs tailored to your space and lifestyle. Below is a summary of the terms under which I work. By commissioning me, you agree to these terms.

1. Design Services
   After an initial consultation, we’ll agree on the scope of your project. Services may include:
   
   • Concept designs and layouts
   • Planting plans
   • Design sketches and visualisations
   • Creative garden advice
   • Site visits and optional support during implementation
2. Fees & Payment
   
   • Fees are agreed in advance, either as a fixed price or by design stage.
   • A deposit may be required to book your project in.
   • Invoices are payable within 14 days.
   • Additional costs (e.g. travel, specialist advice, printing) will be discussed and agreed beforehand.
   • Late payments may be subject to interest as allowed under UK law.
3. Your Responsibilities
   
   • Please provide accurate information about your site and requirements.
   • You are responsible for getting any required permissions (e.g. planning or tree consent).
   • It’s up to you to hire a contractor to build the garden - I do not offer landscaping services.
4. Design Ownership
   
   • All designs, drawings and plans remain the copyright of Marie Crundwell Garden Design.
   • Once full payment is received, you may use the design to create your garden - but not for any other property or project.
   • I may use images of your garden in my portfolio or on social media (unless you ask me not to).
5. Implementation
   
   • I can recommend contractors or provide occasional support during the build phase, if agreed.
   • I’m not responsible for the work of third-party contractors or suppliers.
   • Final measurements should always be checked on site before any work begins.
6. Changes & Cancellations
   
   • If you change your mind or want to alter the scope of the project, I’ll let you know how that affects the timeline and cost.
   • You can cancel at any time in writing — completed work will still need to be paid for.
   • I reserve the right to pause or stop work in the event of non-payment or unforeseen issues.
7. Liability
   
   • I aim to deliver high-quality design work with care and attention.
   • I’m not liable for delays, construction issues, or anything outside the scope of the design itself.
   • You are advised to seek surveys or expert reports (e.g. drainage, soil) before starting the build.
8. Privacy
   
   • I will keep your personal details safe and only use them for providing the agreed services.
   • I follow all UK GDPR and data protection laws.
9. Governing Law
   These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
